Introduction to the Five Dollar Diet

Hello, and welcome to my blog!  Like many Americans, I have been trying to lose weight now for several years without success, but finally I have devised a method for me to shed the extra weight off for good!

I call it The Five Dollar Diet.

The way that it works is that you can eat whatever you want, but you cannot spend more than $5 on a single meal.  So when I woke up today I decided to weigh myself to find out how much weight I have to lose, and I discovered that I weigh a hefty 272.0 lbs!  Since I am about 6'-0" tall, according to several sources, I should weigh about 180.0 lbs, and so I need to lose almost 100 lbs to be at my ideal weight!!!

I will be using an app called WeightBot to track my weight on my iPhone 4 (pictured on the left).  My goal will be to reach my target weight by the end of next year, 2011.  It should be an exciting journey!
